PARLOR | Magazine Design
My Computer Graphics professor gave everyone in the class two words to build a magazine off of. I received "Fancy" and "Tattooing."
For this project, I went to Barnes and Nobles to research - since I love magazines and I knew practically nothing about tattoos. None of the tattoo magazines I had looked at were fancy, not even a little. So, I worked with what I thought was fancy - a white background, black and white or muted photos, and script fonts be a constant theme throughout the pages.
Below is my cover, contents page, and a feature spread. The feature requires the reader to move the magazine and interact with it to see the whole picture. Then, I included my fonts and some of my style guide.
